A man saw in a dream that Laylat al-Qadr was the night of the twenty-seventh. The Prophet ﷺ said, "I see that your dreams agree about the last ten nights, so seek it in the odd-numbered ones."
رأى رجل أن ليلة القدر ليلة سبع وعشرين. فقال النبي ﷺ: أرى رؤياكم في العشر الأواخر، فاطلبوها في الوتر منها.
Muslim reported it in the Book of Fasting (1165:207) through several routes, from Sufyan bin Uyayna, from Zuhri, from Salim, from his father, and he mentioned it.Bukhari reported it in the Book of Dream Interpretation (6991) through the route of Aqeel, from Ibn Shihab, with the wording that some people saw Laylat al-Qadr in the last seven nights, while others saw it in the last ten nights, so the Prophet ﷺ said, "Seek it in the last seven nights," and he did not mention "Witr" in it.
