The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I was shown Laylat al-Qadr, then one of my family members woke me and I forgot it. So seek it in the last ten nights."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: أريت ليلة القدر، ثم أيقظني بعض أهلي، فنسيتها، فالتمسوها في العشر الغوابر.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Fasting (1166) via Ibn Wahb, who said, Yunus told me, from Ibn Shihab, from Abu Salama bin Abdul-Rahman, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it.His saying, "al-ghawabir," means the remaining ones, that is, the last ones.
