The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to embrace his wife while fasting, but he would place a garment between himself and her, meaning between himself and her private part.
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يباشر وهو صائم، ثم يجعل بينه وبينها ثوبا، يعني: الفرج.
Ahmad narrated it (24314) from Ibn Numayr, from Talha bin Yahya, who said, "Ayesha bint Talha narrated to me, from Ayesha," and he mentioned it. Its chain of transmission is hasan due to the criticism directed at Talha bin Yahya, although his hadith is hasan.Masruq said, "I asked Ayesha, 'What is permissible for a man with his wife while fasting?' She said, 'Everything except intercourse.'" Abdul-Razzaq narrated it (8439) from Maamar, from Ayub, from Abu Qilaba, from Masruq, and he mentioned it.In most cases of physical contact between spouses, madhi (pre-seminal fluid) is discharged, and it is impure, so the penis and testicles must be washed, just as the garment stained by the madhi must be washed, followed afterward by wudu in order to achieve purification, since wudu is nullified by it. However, it does not invalidate the fast, as we have said, according to the correct view.As for a person who is quick to arousal and cannot control himself, this is not permissible for him, because it may lead to the invalidation of his fast through ejaculation or intercourse.
