The Prophet ﷺ permitted kissing while fasting for the elderly man, but forbade it for the young man, saying, "The elderly man can control his desire, while the young man will spoil his fast."
أن النبي ﷺ رخص في القبلة للشيخ وهو صائم، ونهي عنه الشاب. وقال: الشيخ يملك إربه، والشاب يفسد صومه.
Bayhaqi (4/232) narrated it via the route of Yahya bin Zakariya bin Abu Zaida, who said, "Aban Bajali narrated to me," from Abu Bakr bin Hafs, from Ayesha, and he related it.Its chain is hasan because of Aban, who is Ibn Abdullah bin Abu Hazim bin Sakhr. There is disagreement about him, but his hadith is hasan. Imam Ahmad said, "He is truthful, and his hadith is sound." Ibn Adi said, "I hope there is no harm in him." Ajli deemed him reliable. Someone like this, his hadith is judged hasan so long as nothing objectionable appears in it, especially since what follows corroborates him.
