Jabir bin Abdullah reported,
The Prophet ﷺ, regarding the account of the Wurud, said, "We will be on such and such on the Day of Resurrection," meaning above the people. He said, "The nations will be called along with their idols and what they used to worship, one after another. Then our Lord will come to us after that and ask, 'Whom are you waiting for?'They will reply, 'We are waiting for our Lord.'He will say, 'I am your Lord.'They will say, 'Until we look upon You.'So He will reveal Himself to them, smiling."

عن النبي ﷺ الله في قصة الورود، قال: نحن يوم القيامة على كذا وكذا- انظر أي: ذلك فوق الناس- قال: فتدعى الأمم بأوثانها وما كانت تعبد، الأول فالأول، ثم يأتينا ربنا بعد ذلك، فيقول: من تنتظرون؟ فيقولون: ننتظر ربنا. فيقول: أنا ربكم، فيقولون: حتى ننظر إليك، فيتجلى لهم يضحك.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Faith (191) through several chains from Rawh bin Ubada Qaysi, who said, Ibn Jurayj told us, he said, Abu Zubayr informed me that he heard Jabir bin Abdullah being asked about the Wurud, and he mentioned something similar within a long hadith, which is presented in full in the hadith about the Sirat.As for his words, "such and such, look," all of this is a corruption that occurred in the text, as was explained earlier in the chapter on laughter.
