He asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "May a person who is fasting kiss his wife?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Ask this one, Umm Salama."She informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do that.The man said, "Messenger of Allah, Allah has forgiven you your past and future sins."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "By Allah, I am the most God-fearing of you and the one who fears Him most."
أنه سأل رسول الله ﷺ: أيقبل الصائم؟ فقال له رسول الله ﷺ: سل هذه لأم سلمة، فأخبرته أن رسول الله ﷺ يصنع ذلك. فقال: يا رسول الله، قد غفر الله لك ما تقدم من ذنبك وما تأخر. فقال له رسول الله ﷺ: أما والله إني لأتقاكم الله، وأخشاكم له.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Fasting (1108) from Harun bin Saeed Ayli, he said, Ibn Wahb narrated to us, Amr bin Harith informed me, from Abd Rabbih bin Saeed, from Abdullah bin Kaab Himyari, from Umar bin Abu Salama, who related it.
