Ayesha reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to kiss some of his wives while fasting.I asked Ayesha, "Was this during the obligatory fast or the voluntary one?"Ayesha replied, "In all of it, both the obligatory and the voluntary."
عن عائشة، قالت: كان رسول الله ﷺ يقبل بعض نسائه وهو صائم. قلت لعائشة: في الفريضة والتطوع؟ قالت عائشة: في كل ذلك، في الفريضة والتطوع.

Ibn Hibban (3545) narrated it through the route of Abdul-Razzaq, who said, Mamar informed us, from Zuhri, from Abu Salama, from Ayesha, who said, (and she mentioned it). Its chain of transmission is sahih, except that I have not found this chain in the printed edition of Abdul-Razzaq's compilation. What is found there (8408) is, from Mamar and Ibn Jurayj, from Abu Salama bin Abdul-Rahman, from Ayesha, who said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to kiss some of his wives while he was fasting. This either contains an omission, since Mamar, who belongs to the seventh generation and died in the year 153 AH, could not possibly have met Abu Salama bin Abdul-Rahman, who belongs to the third generation and died in the year 94 AH, or else it contains a break in the chain.Nasai also narrated it in Al-Kubra (3058) through the route of Mamar, from Zuhri, from Abu Salama, except that he did not mention her statement, "in the obligatory prayer and the voluntary prayer."The soundness of the hadith is not harmed by what has come through another route from Abu Salama, that Umar bin Abdul-Aziz informed him from Urwa, from Ayesha, as Nasai narrated it in Al-Kubra (3066) and others besides him. This is because Abu Salama heard this report from Umar bin Abdul-Aziz, from Urwa, from Ayesha, just as he heard it from her directly, as indicated by his statement, "I said to Ayesha." So he transmitted it by both routes, and both are preserved.
