The Prophet ﷺ said, "A woman should not fast while her husband is present except with his permission."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: لا تصوم المرأة وبعلها شاهد إلا بإذنه.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Marriage (5192), and Muslim in the Book of Zakat (1026), both from the hadith of Mamar, from Hammam bin Munabbih, from Abu Hurairah, who mentioned it.His saying "present" excludes the traveler.
