Abu Hurairah reported,

I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "None of you should fast on Friday unless he fasts a day before it or a day after it."

Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Fasting (1985), and Muslim in the Book of Fasting (1144:147), both of them via Amash, who said, Abu Salih narrated to us, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it.
