The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The distinction between our fasting and the fasting of the People of the Book is the predawn meal."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: فصل ما بين صيامنا وصيام أهل الكتاب، أكلة السحر.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Fasting (1096) via Musa bin Ali, from his father, from Abu Qays, the freedman of Amr bin As, from Amr bin As, who mentioned it.
