I came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was eating the predawn meal, and he said, "It is a blessing that Allah has given you, so do not abandon it."
دخلت على النبي ﷺ وهو يتسحر فقال: إنها بركة أعطاكم الله إياها فلا تدعوه.
Nasai narrated it (2162) from Ishaq bin Mansur, who said, Abdul-Rahman informed us, who said, Shubah narrated to us, from Abdul-Hameed, the companion of Ziyadi, who said, I heard Abdullah bin Harith narrating from a man, and he mentioned it.Imam Ahmad also narrated it through two other routes, from Muhammad bin Jafar (23113), and from Rawh (23142), both of them from Shubah, with his chain, in like manner. Its chain of transmission is sahih. Abdul-Rahman is Ibn Mahdi, and Abdullah bin Harith is the Ansari, the Basran, Abu Walid, the relative by marriage of Ibn Sirin, one of the men relied upon by the two Shaykhs.
