Regarding "a ransom of feeding a poor person" [Baqarah 2:184], he said, "It is abrogated."
{فدية طعام مسكين} [البقرة: ١٨٤] قال: هي منسوخة.
Bukhari related it in the Book of Fasting (1949) from Ayyash, who said, "Abdul-Ala narrated to us, who said, 'Ubaydullah narrated to us, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar,'" and he mentioned it. Ayyash is Ibn Walid Raqqam Basri.
