Umar bin Thabit al-Ansari informed me that some of the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ reported to him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, on the day he warned the people about the Dajjal, said, "The word 'disbeliever' is written between his eyes, and it will be read by anyone who detests his deeds," or he said, "every believer will read it."He also said, "Know that none of you will see his Lord until he dies."In another wording, "You should know."
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Tribulations (2930:169) from Harmala bin Yahya bin Abdullah, [who said], Ibn Wahb told me, Yunus told me, from Ibn Shihab, with his chain of transmission, in a long hadith about the story of Ibn Sayad, which is mentioned in its place. The second narration is found in Tirmidhi (2235).
