Abu Hurairah reported,

Commentary

Zia-ur-Rahman Azami

Nasai (2598) and Ibn Majah (1839) both narrated it from the hadith of Abu Bakr bin Ayyash, from Abu Husayn, from Salim bin Abu Jaad, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it. Ibn Hibban (3290) graded it sahih, and narrated it by this same route. Ibn Khuzayma (2387) and Hakim (1/407) also graded it sahih, except that both of them narrated it by another route, from Abu Hazim, from Abu Hurairah, in similar wording.
