I was walking with the Prophet ﷺ who was wearing a Najrani cloak with a coarse border, when an Arabi caught up with him and gave it such a violent tug that I saw the edge of the cloak leave a mark on the side of the Prophet's ﷺ shoulder from the force of the pull. Then he said, "Order that I be given some of Allah's wealth that you have!"The Prophet ﷺ turned to him and laughed, then ordered that he be given a gift.
كنت أمشي مع النبي ﷺ وعليه برد نجراني غليظ الحاشية فأدركه أعرابي فجذبه جذبة شديدة حتى نظرت إلى صفحة عاتق النبي ﷺ قد أثرت به حاشية الرداء من شدة جذبته ثم قال: مر لي من مال الله الذي عندك! فالتفت إليه فضحك ثم أمر له بعطاء.
Bukhari narrated it in the chapter on the obligatory fifth (3149) from Yahya bin Bukayr, and Muslim in the chapter on zakat (1057) through Ishaq bin Sulayman Razi and Ibn Wahb, all of them from Malik bin Anas, from Ishaq bin Abdullah bin Abu Talha, from Anas bin Malik, and he related the hadith.This hadith is not found in the Muwatta according to the narration of Yahya Laythi, but Suwayd bin Saeed Hadathani narrated it in his Muwatta (1506), and Abu Musab Zuhri in his Muwatta (2124). It is also found in the Muwatta of Yahya bin Bukayr, Ibn Burd, and Musab Zubayri, and it is found with Qanabi outside the Muwatta. See Musnad Muwatta by Abu Qasim Jawhari (284).
