The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best Dinar a man spends is a Dinar he spends on his dependents, a Dinar he spends on his mount in the cause of Allah, and a Dinar he spends on his companions in the cause of Allah."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: أفضل دينار ينفقه الرجل دينار ينفقه على عباله، ودينار ينفقه الرجل على دابته في سبيل الله، ودينار ينفقه على أصحابه في سبيل الله.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Zakat (994) through Hammad bin Zayd, who said, Ayub told us, from Abu Qilaba, from Abu Asma, from Thawban, and he related it.Following the hadith, he said, Abu Qilaba said, "He began with the dependents."Then Abu Qilaba said, "What man has greater reward than a man who spends on young dependents, protecting them from need or Allah benefits them through him and makes them self-sufficient?"
