The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered that a cluster of dates from every garden be donated to the mosque.
إن رسول الله ﷺ أمر من كل حائط بقنو للمسجد.
Ibn Khuzayma narrated it in his Sahih (2466), Ibn Hibban (3288), and Hakim (1/417), all of them from the hadith of Ibn Abu Maryam, who said, Abdul-Aziz bin Muhammad narrated to us, from Ubaydullah bin Umar and Abdullah bin Umar, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, and he related it.Its isnad is sahih. There is also on this subject the hadith of Jabir, as mentioned before.
