The Prophet ﷺ said, "There are three whom Allah will not speak to on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He look at them, nor will He purify them, and they will have a painful punishment."Abu Dharr said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited it three times."Abu Dharr said, "They are ruined and lost. Who are they, Messenger of Allah?"He replied, "The one who lets his garment hang below his ankles, the one who reminds others of his favors, and the one who sells his merchandise by means of a false oath."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: ثلاثة لا يكلمهم الله يوم القيامة، ولا ينظر إليهم ولا يزكيهم، ولهم عذاب. قال أبو ذر: فقرأها رسول الله ﷺ ثلاث مرات. قال أبو ذر: خابوا وخسروا، من هم يا رسول الله؟ قال: المسبل، والمنان، والمنفق سلعته بالحلف الكاذب.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Faith (106) through several routes from Muhammad bin Jafar, from Shubah, from Ali bin Mudrak, from Abu Zura, from Kharasha bin Hurr, from Abu Dharr, and he related it.In another version, from Sulayman bin Mushir, from Kharasha, "The one who boasts about the favors he gives, giving nothing except to remind others of it, the one who sells his goods through false oaths, and the one who lets his garment drag on the ground."
