The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The one who does not pay the zakat on his wealth will have his wealth appear to him on the Day of Resurrection in the form of a bald serpent with two black spots above its eyes. It will cling to him," or he said, "it will be wrapped around his neck, saying, 'I am your treasure, I am your treasure.'"
قال رسول الله ﷺ: إن الذي لا يؤدي زكاة ماله يخيل إليه ماله يوم القيامة شجاعا أقرع له زبيبتان. قال: فيلتزمه أو يطوقه قال: يقول: أنا كنزك أنا كنزك.
Nasai (2481) narrated it from Fadl bin Sahl, who said, Abu Nadr Hashim bin Qasim narrated to us, who said, Abdul-Aziz bin Abdullah bin Abu Salama narrated to us, from Abdullah bin Dinar, from Ibn Umar, who said, and then he mentioned it.Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih (2257), and narrated it through the route of Abu Nadr Hashim bin Qasim with similar wording.Imam Ahmad narrated it (5729) through another route from Abdul-Aziz bin Abdullah bin Abu Salama, with his chain of transmission, in similar wording.
