I came to the Prophet ﷺ and he said, "By the One in whose hand is my soul," or "By the One besides whom there is no god," or whatever oath he swore, "there is no man who possesses camels, cattle, or sheep and fails to pay what is due on them but that they will be brought on the Day of Resurrection larger and fatter than they ever were. They will trample him with their hooves and gore him with their horns. Each time the last of them passes over him, the first is sent back upon him, until judgment is passed among the people."
انتهيت إلى النبي ﷺ قال: والذي نفسي بيده- أو والذي لا إله غيره، أو كما حلف- ما من رجل تكون له إبل أو بقر أو غنم، لا يؤدي حقها إلا أتي بها يوم القيامة أعظم ما تكون، وأسمنه تطوه بأخفافها، وتنطحه بقرونها، كلما جازت أخراها ردت عليه أولاها حتى يقضى بين الناس.
Bukhari narrated it in the chapter on zakat (1460), and Muslim narrated it in the chapter on zakat (990), both from the hadith of Amash, from Marur bin Suwayd, from Abu Dharr, who said, and he related it. The wording given is Bukhari's, and Muslim's wording is similar.Some scholars of knowledge said regarding his words, "whenever the first of them passes over him," and his words, "whenever the last of them passes over him," that there are several possible interpretations. One of them is that when the first ones pass, the last ones are brought back to him, meaning the last one becomes the first one. In this case, the going and returning would be in a single line. Another interpretation is that the last ones pass, and then the first ones return, in which case the going and returning would form the shape of a circle.
