Abu Hurairah reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said regarding the verse "he will have a miserable life" [Ta-Ha 20:124], "It is the punishment of the grave."

Ibn Hibban (3119) narrated it from Abu Khalifa, who said, Abu Walid narrated to us, Hammad bin Salama narrated to us, from Muhammad bin Amr, from Abu Salama, from Abu Hurairah, and he related it.Bayhaqi also reported it in Ithbat Azab Qabr (69) through the route of Abu Walid, with his chain, in a similar wording. Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Muhammad bin Amr bin Alqama Laythi, whose hadith is hasan.Hakim also reported it (1/381) through the route of Abu Walid Tayalisi, with his chain.
