The Prophet ﷺ performed the funeral prayer for Ashamah the Negus, saying takbir four times.
أن النبي ﷺ صلى على أصحمة النجاشي فكبر أربعا.
Bukhari related it in "The Book of Funerals" (1334), and Muslim in "The Book of Funerals" (952), both from the hadith of Salim bin Hayan, who said, "Saeed bin Mina narrated to us, from Jabir bin Abdullah," and he mentioned it.
