We never saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ attend a funeral and sit down until the body was laid down.
ما رأينا رسول الله ﷺ شهد جنازة قط فجلس حتى توضع.
Nasai (1918) narrated it from Yusuf bin Saeed, who said, Hajjaj told us, from Ibn Jurayj, from Ibn Ajlan, from Saeed, from Abu Hurairah and Abu Saeed, and they related it.Its chain is hasan because of Muhammad bin Ajlan, for he is hasan al-hadith, and the hadith has a firmly established basis in both word and deed.
