The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not insult the dead, for they have moved on to what they sent forth."
قال النبي ﷺ: لا تسبوا الأموات فإنهم أفضوا إلى ما قدموا.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Funerals (1393), on the authority of Adam, who said, Shubah narrated to us, from Amash, from Mujahid, from Ayesha, and he mentioned it.Bukhari said, Abdullah bin Abdul-Quddus and Muhammad bin Anas also narrated it from Amash. Ali bin Jaad, Ibn Arara, and Ibn Abu Adi followed him in narrating from Shubah.I say, the hadith of Ali bin Jaad was reported by Bukhari in the Book of Softening of Hearts (6516).
