When the son of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ died, Usama bin Zayd cried out loudly. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "This is not from us. There is no share for the one who wails. The heart grieves and the eye sheds tears, but we do not say what angers the Lord."
لما توفي ابن رسول الله ﷺ صاح أسامة بن زيد فقال رسول الله ﷺ: ليس هذا منا، ليس لصارخ حظ، القلب يحزن، والعين تدمع، ولا نقول ما يغضب الرب.

Ibn Hibban narrated it in his Sahih (3160) from Imran bin Musa bin Mujashi, who said, Hudba bin Khalid Qaysi told us, who said, Hammad bin Salama told us, from Muhammad bin Amr, from Abu Salama, from Abu Hurairah, and he related it. Hakim also related it (1/382) through the route of Hammad bin Salama with his isnad. Its isnad is hasan because of Muhammad bin Amr, who is Ibn Alqama bin Waqqas Laythi, about whom there is disagreement, though his hadith is hasan, and he is among the narrators found in all six major collections.
