Anas bin Malik reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say often, "Turner of hearts, keep my heart firm upon Your religion."I said, "Prophet of Allah, we have believed in you and in what you brought. Do you still fear for us?"He replied, "Yes, for hearts are between two of Allah's fingers. He turns them however He wills."

كان رسول الله ﷺ يكثر أن يقول: يا مقلب القلوب ثبت قلبي على دينك. فقلت: يا نبي الله، آمنا بك، وبما جئت به، فهل تخاف علينا؟ قال: نعم، إن القلوب بين أصبعين من أصابع الله يقلبها كيف يشاء.
Tirmidhi (2140) narrated it from Hannad, who said, Abu Muawiya narrated to us, from Amash, from Abu Sufyan, from Anas, who related the same. Abu Muawiya is Muhammad bin Khazim al-Darir, a reliable narrator, the most retentive of people regarding the hadith of Amash, though he may err in the hadith of others. Imam Ahmad (12107) narrated it through his route, as did Ibn Abu Asim in al-Sunnah (225), and Hakim (1/526), who presented it as a sahih corroborating witness for the hadith of Nawas bin Saman. Tirmidhi said, "Hasan."I say, it is as he said, for the chain contains Abu Sufyan, who is Talha bin Nafi al-Wasiti, and although he is among the narrators found in the six major collections, he is only "truthful" as stated in al-Taqrib.As for what Ibn Majah (3834) narrated through another route, from Amash, from Yazid Raqashi, from Anas, who related the same, its chain is daif because of Yazid bin Abdullah Raqashi.
