My maternal aunt took me to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, my sister's son is ill." He wiped my head and prayed for me to be blessed.
ذهبت بي خالتي إلى رسول الله ﷺ فقالت: يا رسول الله إن ابن أختي وجع، فمسح رأسي ودعا لي بالبركة.
Bukhari related it in the Book of Illnesses (5670), and Muslim in the Book of Virtues (2345), both from the hadith of Hatim bin Ismail, from Jad bin Abdul-Rahman, who said, I heard Saaib bin Yazid say what has already been mentioned.Juayd bin Abdul-Rahman said, I saw Saaib bin Yazid at ninety-four years of age, still sound in build, and he said, "I know that my hearing and sight have remained sound only through the supplication of the Prophet ﷺ. My aunt took me to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ," and then he mentioned what has already been related.Bukhari also related it (3540) from Fadl bin Musa, from Juayd bin Abdul-Rahman.
