Jibreel came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked, "Muhammad, are you suffering from illness?"He replied, "Yes."Jibreel said, "In the name of Allah I recite over you, from every thing that harms you, from the evil of every soul or envious eye. May Allah heal you. In the name of Allah I recite over you."
أن جبريل أتى النبي ﷺ فقال: يا محمد اشتكيت؟ فقال: نعم قال: باسم الله أرقيك، من كل شيء يؤذيك، من شر كل نفس أو عين حاسد، الله يشفيك، باسم الله أرقيك.
Muslim narrated it in Salam (2186) from Bishr bin Hilal Sawwaf, he said, Abdul-Warith told us, he said, Abdul-Aziz bin Suhayb told us, from Abu Nadra, from Abu Saeed, and he related it.Tirmidhi also narrated it through this same route (972), and he said, "Hasan sahih. I asked Abu Zura about this hadith. I said to him, 'Is the narration of Abdul-Aziz from Abu Nadra, from Abu Saeed more sahih, or the hadith of Abdul-Aziz from Anas?' He said, 'Both of them are sahih.'"
