The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah the Exalted says, 'When I take away the two precious things from My servant and he bears it patiently, seeking reward from Me, I will accept nothing less than Paradise as his recompense.'"
قال رسول الله ﷺ: يقول الله تعالى: إذا أخذت كريمتي عبدي فصبر واحتسب لم أرض له ثوابا دون الجنة.
Abu Yaala (2365) and Tabarani in Al-Kabir (12/54) both narrated it from the hadith of Yaqub bin Mahan, who said, Hushaym narrated to us, who said, Abu Bishr informed me, from Saeed bin Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas, and he related the same. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (2930), narrating it from Abu Yaala, from Yaqub bin Mahan. Haythami said in Al-Majma (2/308), "Abu Yaala and Tabarani narrated it in Al-Kabir and Al-Awsat, and the men of Abu Yaala are trustworthy."I say, it is as he said, except that Yaqub bin Mahan is "truthful," but he has been corroborated. Tabarani narrated it in Al-Awsat (1179, Majma Bahrayn) through another route from Walid bin Salih Nakhkhas, who said, Hushaym narrated to us with the same wording. Walid bin Salih Nakhkhas, with the nun and kha, Dabbi, is trustworthy and among the narrators of the two Sheikhs. With this, the chain is confirmed as sahih.
