Uqba bin Amir reported,
The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no day's deeds but that they are sealed upon. When a believer falls ill, the angels say, 'Our Lord, your servant so-and-so, you have confined him.' The Lord 
says, 'Seal for him the like of his deeds until he recovers or dies.'"

عن النبي ﷺ، قال: ليس من عمل يوم إلا وهو يختم عليه، فإذا مرض المؤمن قالت الملائكة: يا ربنا! عبدك فلان قد حبسته، فيقول الرب عز وجل: اختموا له على مثل عمله حتى يبرأ أو يموت.
Imam Ahmad (17316) narrated it from Ali bin Ishaq, who said, Abdullah told us, Ibn Lahia told me, he said, Yazid told me, that Abu Khayr told him, that he heard Uqba bin Amir narrating it, and he mentioned something similar. Its chain is hasan, on account of the narration of Abdullah, who is Ibn Mubarak, from Ibn Lahia, because he heard from him before his books were burned.Tabarani narrated it in Al-Kabir (17/284) and in Al-Awsat (3257) through other routes from Ibn Lahia with this same chain. Hakim narrated it (4/260) and (4/308-309) through two other routes, from Uqba bin Amir, and he said in the first instance, "Sahih according to the standard of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim)." And he said in the second instance, "Its chain is sahih." Dhahabi followed up on this, saying, "It contains Rushdin, who is weak."I say, it is as he said, for Rushdin, who is Ibn Saad bin Muflih Mahri, has been criticized by the majority of critics and they judged him daif.
