The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no woman who buries three children except that they will be a shield for her from the Fire."A woman asked, "Messenger of Allah, what about two?"He replied, "And two as well."She did not ask him about one. Abu Hurairah said, "This applies to those who have not reached the age of accountability."
أن النبي ﷺ قال: ما من امرأة تدفن ثلاثة أفراط إلا كانوا لها حجابا من النار. فقالت امرأة: يا رسول الله! قدمت اثنين. قال: واثنين. ولم تسأله عن الواحد. قال أبو هريرة: من لم يبلغ الحنث.
Ibn Abu Shayba (11998) narrated it from Sharik, from Abdul-Rahman bin Al-Asbahani, who said, "Abu Salih came to me to console me over a son of mine, and he began to narrate from Abu Saeed and Abu Hurairah," and then he mentioned the hadith. Its isnad is hasan because of Sharik, who is Ibn Abdullah Nakhai, for his hadith is hasan when it has a basis, and this one does.Bukhari also narrated it as a suspended report (1250) from Sharik with the same wording.
