The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever sends forth three of his offspring, seeking his reward from Allah" — Abu Ushanah once said, "in the path of Allah," but did not say it on another occasion — "Paradise is guaranteed for him."
عن رسول الله ﷺ قال: من أنكل ثلاثة من صلبه فاحتسبهم على الله- فقال أبو عشانة مرة: في سبيل الله. ولم يقلها مرة أخرى-وجبت له الجنة.
Imam Ahmad (17298) narrated it from Hasan (Ibn Musa al-Ashyab), who said, Ibn Lahia narrated to us, who said, Abu Ashanah narrated to us, that he heard Uqba bin Amir say, then he mentioned it.Its isnad is hasan because of Ibn Lahia, about whom there is well-known discussion, except that he has been corroborated. Tabarani narrated it in al-Kabir (17/300) by another route from Ibn Wahb, who said, Amr bin Harith informed me, that Abu Ashanah narrated to him, with his isnad, similarly.Abu Ashanah's name was Hayy bin Yumn al-Misri, and he is trustworthy.
