I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "There is no Muslim who loses three children before they reach the age of accountability except that they will meet him at the eight gates of Paradise, and he may enter through whichever of them he wishes."
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: ما من مسلم يموت له ثلاثة من الولد لم يبلغوا الحنت إلا تلقوه من أبواب الجنة الثمانية، من أيها شاء دخل.
Ibn Majah (1604) narrated it from Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Numayr, who said, Ishaq bin Sulayman told us, who said, Hurayz bin Uthman told us, from Shurahbil bin Shufa, who said, "Utba bin Abdul-Sulami met me," and he mentioned it. Ahmad (17639) narrated it through another route from Shurahbil bin Shufa Rahbi with the same wording. Its isnad is hasan because of Shurahbil bin Shufa, for he is "truthful" as Hafiz said in Taqrib. He graded it hasan in Fath al-Bari (3/121).Busiri said in Zawaid bin Majah, "This isnad contains Shurahbil bin Shufa, whom Ibn Hibban mentioned among the trustworthy narrators." Abu Dawud said, "The teachers of Hurayz are all trustworthy." The rest of the narrators in the isnad meet the standard of Bukhari, and its original version is found in the Sahihayn and others, from the hadith of Abu Hurairah, and in Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah from the hadith of Ibn Masud, and also in Tirmidhi from the hadith of Ayesha, and in Bukhari and Nasai from the hadith of Anas.
