The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in the two Eid prayers and in the Friday prayer "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High" [Ala 87:1] and "Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming?" [Ghashiyah 88:1].He said, "When Eid and Friday fell on the same day, he would recite these same surahs in both prayers."
Muslim narrated it in the Jumuah chapter (878) via Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Muntashir, from his father, from Habib bin Salim, the freedman of Numan bin Bashir, from Numan bin Bashir, and he related it.In another version, Dahhak bin Qays wrote to Numan bin Bashir asking him, "What did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recite on Friday besides Surah Jumuah?" He replied, "He used to recite, "Has there reached you"[Ghashiyah 88:1]."
