The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I warn you of the Fire! I warn you of the Fire!" He said it with such force that even a man at the farthest end of the marketplace would have heard him, and the people of the marketplace heard his voice while he was on the pulpit. In another narration, he cried out so vigorously that the cloak on his shoulder fell to his feet.
Ahmad narrated it (18360, 18398, 1899), via Shubah, from Simak, who said, "I heard Numan bin Bashir," and he mentioned something similar. Its chain of transmission is hasan, because of Simak bin Harb, for he is truthful. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (644, 667) and so did Hakim (1/287), both narrating it through this same route. Hakim said, "Sahih according to the criterion of Muslim, though the two of them [Bukhari and Muslim] did not narrate it."
