Abu Dawud (1118) and Nasai (1399) both narrated it through Muawiya bin Salih, from Abu Zahiriya, who said, "We were with Abdullah bin Busr, the companion of the Prophet ﷺ, on Friday, when a man came pushing through the necks of the people. Abdullah bin Busr said..." and he mentioned the hadith.Its isnad is hasan because of Muawiya bin Salih bin Hudayr Hadrami, for he is hasan al-hadith. Ibn Khuzayma (1811), Ibn Hibban (2790), and Hakim (1/288) graded it sahih, narrating it through this same route, adding in it "and you have come late." Hakim said, "It is sahih according to the criterion of Muslim, though the two of them did not narrate it."His saying "you have caused harm" means to the people by pushing through them, and "you have come late" means he delayed his coming.On this subject there is also a report from Jabir bin Abdullah, that a man entered the masjid on Friday while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was delivering the sermon to the people, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Sit down! You have caused harm and come late." Ibn Majah (1115) narrated it through the route of Abdul-Rahman Muharibi, from Ismail bin Muslim, from Hasan, from Jabir bin Abdullah, who mentioned it.Muharibi is Abdul-Rahman bin Muhammad bin Ziyad Muharibi, Abu Muhammad Kufi. Ibn Main deemed him reliable, and Abu Hatim said he was truthful, but Ahmad and Ajli described him as one who practiced tadlis.Hasan here is Ibn Abu Hasan, the well-known imam, who was also one who practiced tadlis. Ali bin Madini said, "He did not hear anything from Jabir bin Abdullah." And Abu Zura was asked, "Did Hasan meet Jabir bin Abdullah?" He said, "No."
