The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the Eid prayer without adhan or iqamah, as did Abu Bakr and Umar, or Uthman. Yahya was uncertain.
أن رسول الله ﷺ صلى العيد بلا أذان ولا إقامة، وأبا بكر وعمر، أو عثمان، شك يحيى.
Abu Dawud (1147) and Ibn Majah (1274) both narrated it through Yahya bin Saeed, from Ibn Jurayj, from Hasan bin Muslim, from Tawus, from Ibn Abbas, except that Ibn Majah did not mention "Yahya's doubt."Muslim also narrated it in the Book of the Two Eids (884) from Muhammad bin Rafi and Abd bin Humayd, both from Abdul-Razzaq, who said, Ibn Jurayj informed us of it at greater length, except that he did not mention in it "without adhan or iqamah."
