The Prophet ﷺ did not pray before or after the Eid prayer.
أن النبي ﷺ لم يصل قبلها ولا بعدها في عيد.
Ibn Majah (1292) narrated it from Ali bin Muhammad, who said, Waki narrated to us, who said, Abdullah bin Abdul-Rahman Taifi narrated to us, from Amr bin Shuayb, from his father, from his grandfather, and he mentioned it.Its chain of transmission is hasan, due to the discussion surrounding Abdullah bin Abdul-Rahman Taifi, except that his hadith is hasan.
