The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A prayer in this mosque of mine is better than a thousand prayers in any other, except for the Sacred Mosque."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: صلاة في مسجدي هذا خير من ألف صلاة فيما سواه، إلا المسجد الحرام.
Malik narrated it in the qibla (9) from Zayd bin Rabah and Ubaydullah bin Abu Abdullah, from Abu Abdullah Salman Aghar, from Abu Hurairah, mentioning it in the same way.Bukhari narrated it in the Book of the Merit of Prayer in the Masjid of Makkah and Madinah (1190) from Abdullah bin Yusuf, from Malik, in the same way.Muslim narrated it in the Hajj (1394) through another route, from Abu Salama bin Abdul-Rahman and Abu Abdullah Aghar, that they both heard Abu Hurairah, mentioning it in the same way, and he added at the end of the hadith, "And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is the last of the prophets, and his masjid is the last of the masjids," meaning the last of the masjids of the prophets.
