The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best places to which mounts are ridden are this mosque of mine and the Ancient House."
عن رسول الله ﷺ أنه قال: إن خير ما ركبت إليه الرواحل مسجدي هذا، والبيت العتيق.
Imam Ahmad (14782), Abu Yaala (2266), and Tabarani in al-Awsat (4427, 744) all narrated it through routes going back to Layth bin Saad, from Abu Zubayr, from Jabir, who related the hadith. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (1616), and its isnad is sahih.
