The Prophet ﷺ became alarmed one day, she said meaning the day the sun was eclipsed. He took up a garment until he reached his cloak, and he stood with the people for a very long time. If someone had come in, they would not have realized that the Prophet ﷺ had performed the bowing, no one would have said he had bowed, because of how long he stood. In another narration, He stood for a long time, then would stand again and then bow.Wazad, I began to look at one woman who was older than me, and at another who was more frail than me.In another narration, I finished what I needed to do, then came and entered the mosque, and I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ standing, so I stood with him. He prolonged the standing until I felt I wanted to sit down. Then I glanced at a frail woman and said to myself, "She is weaker than I am," so I remained standing. He then bowed and prolonged the bowing, then raised his head and prolonged the standing, so that if a man had come in, it would have seemed to him that the Prophet had not yet bowed.
