Abdullah bin Yazid al-Ansari went out, accompanied by Bara bin Azib and Zayd bin Arqam , to pray for rain. He stood before them on his feet without a pulpit and sought Allah's forgiveness, then prayed two units, reciting aloud, without any call to prayer or its iqamah.Abu Ishaq said, Abdullah bin Yazid al-Ansari had seen the Prophet ﷺ.
Bukhari related it in the chapter on seeking rain (1022) from Abu Naeem, from Zuhayr, from Abu Ishaq, who said, and he mentioned it.
