I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Allah said, 'Son of Adam, do not fail to pray four rakahs at the beginning of the day, and I will suffice you for its end.'"
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: قال الله عز وجل: ابن آدم لا تعجزن من أربع ركعات في أول النهار، أكفك آخره.
Haythami said in Majma (2/236), "Tabarani narrated it in Kabir, and its narrators are trustworthy." However, I could not find its chain of transmission, and this ruling rests solely on what Haythami said.I then came across what Ayni said in Umdat Qari (7/147), where he stated, "The hadith of Nawas bin Saman is found in Tabarani's Kabir, transmitted by Abu Idris Khawlani, who said, 'I heard Nawas bin Saman,'" and he then related the hadith, saying, "Its isnad is sahih."However, I could not find this hadith in the printed edition of Tabarani's Mujam al-Kabir, nor in Ibn Kathir's Jami al-Masanid wal-Sunan.
