The Messenger of Allah ﷺ dispatched a military expedition, and they returned with great spoils after a swift campaign. A man said, "Messenger of Allah ﷺ, we have never seen an expedition return so swiftly or with greater spoils than this one."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Shall I tell you of one who returns more swiftly and with greater spoils than them? A man who performs his ablution well in his home, then heads to the mosque and prays the morning prayer there, then follows it with the forenoon prayer. He has indeed returned swiftly and gained the greatest spoils."

Abu Yaala (6528) narrated it from my father (that is, Ibn Abu Shayba), who said, Hatim (Ibn Ismail) narrated to us, from Humayd bin Sakhr, from Maqburi, from Abu Hurairah, and he related it.Haythami said in Majma(2352), "Its narrators are the narrators of the sahih." I say, it is as he said, except that Humayd bin Sakhr, although he is among the narrators of Muslim, is disputed, but he is hasan al-hadith.Ibn Hibban also graded it sahih, including it in his Sahih (2535) from Ahmad bin Ali bin Muthanna, from Abu Bakr bin Abu Shayba, in the same manner.Munziri mentioned it in Targheeb wal-Tarheeb (1/463) and said as Haythami said, adding, "and Bazzar, and Ibn Hibban in his Sahih." Bazzar made clear in his narration that the man was Abu Bakr .
