Tabarani related it in Al-Kabir (11/323), and Bazzar in Kashf Astar (990), both through the route of Husayn bin Muhammad Dhari, who said, Husayn bin Numayr told us, who said, Hisham bin Hassan told us, from Ikrima, from Ibn Abbas, and he mentioned it.Its chain is hasan because of Husayn bin Muhammad Dhari. Nasai deemed him trustworthy, Abu Hatim said, "He is truthful," and Ibn Hibban mentioned him among the trustworthy narrators and related through this route in his Sahih (354).Haythami said in Majma (3/162), "The men of Bazzar are trustworthy, and likewise the men of Tabarani."I say, this hadith has other chains, but the one I have mentioned is the soundest of them. This hadith has also been related from other companions, but none of those narrations are sahih except the one I have mentioned.
