The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah loves that His concessions be accepted, just as He hates that His acts of disobedience be committed."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: إن الله يحب أن تؤتى رخصه، كما يكره أن تؤتى معصيته.
Imam Ahmad (5873) and Bazzar in Kashf Astar (988) both narrated it, both from the hadith of Abdul-Aziz bin Muhammad (that is, Darawardi), from Umara bin Ghaziya, from Harb bin Qays, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, who mentioned it.Its chain is hasan on account of Harb bin Qays, for no one other than Ibn Hibban rated him trustworthy, though a group of narrators transmitted from him, and his own transmitter Umara bin Ghaziya said of him, "Harb was reliable." He is among the men discussed in Ta'jil.Ibn Hibban (2742) graded it sahih, narrating it via Qutayba bin Saeed, who said, "Darawardi narrated to us," with the same wording. Imam Ahmad (5866) also narrated it from Qutayba bin Saeed, except that he did not mention "Harb bin Qays" between Umara and Nafi. What appears to be the case is that this was dropped in error, since Ibn Hibban narrated it from Qutayba and included it. Yahya bin Ayub, that is, Ghafiqi, corroborated Darawardi in mentioning Harb bin Qays between Umara and Nafi, and Ibn Khuzayma (950) narrated it through his route, except that in it "Yahya bin Ayub" was corrupted into "Yahya bin Ziyad."
