He asked Ayesha, "How was the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during Ramadan?"She replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never exceeded eleven units of prayer, whether in Ramadan or outside of it. He would pray four units, and do not ask about their beauty and length. Then he would pray another four, and do not ask about their beauty and length. Then he would pray three."
أنه سأل عائشة: كيف كانت صلاة رسول الله ﷺ في رمضان؟ قالت: ما كان رسول الله ﷺ يزيد في رمضان ولا في غيره على إحدى عشرة ركعة، يصلي أربعا فلا تسأل عن حسنهن وطولهن ثم يصلي أربعا فلا تسأل عن حسنهن وطولهن، ثم يصلي ثلاثا.
Malik narrated it in Prayer at Night (9), from Saeed bin Abu Saeed Maqburi, from Abu Salama bin Abdul-Rahman bin Awf, and he related it.Bukhari narrated it in Tahajjud (1147), and Muslim in the Prayer of Travelers (738), both of them by way of Malik, with the same wording.
