Tabarani related it in Al-Kabir (1/280–281), and Bayhaqi in Al-Kubra (2/479), both by way of Zuhayr bin Muawiya, from Khalid bin Abu Karima, "Muawiya bin Qurra related to us, from Aghar Muzani," who said, and then he mentioned it.Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Khalid bin Abu Karima Asbahani, for he is hasan al-hadith. Haythami said in Al-Majmu (2/246), "Tabarani related it in Al-Kabir and its narrators are deemed reliable, though there is some discussion about some of them that does not cause harm."The hadith was also related as a mursal narration by Ibn Abu Shayba in Al-Musannaf (6799).
