The Prophet ﷺ would pray while I lay sleeping across his bed. When he wished to perform witr, he would wake me, and I would pray witr.
كان النبي ﷺ يصلي وأنا راقدة معترضة على فراشه، فإذا أراد أن يوتر أيقظني فأوترت.
Bukhari narrated it in Witr (997) from Musaddad, who said, Yahya narrated to us, who said, Hisham narrated to us, who said, my father narrated to me, from Ayesha, and he mentioned it.Muslim narrated it in "Travelers" (744) through another route, from Tamim bin Salama, from Urwa bin Zubayr, from Ayesha, who said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray at night, and when he wanted to pray Witr, he would say, 'Get up and pray Witr, O Ayesha.'"In another version, through a different route, from the hadith of Qasim bin Muhammad, from Ayesha, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform his night prayer while she lay stretched out in front of him, and when only the Witr prayer remained, he would wake her and she would pray Witr.
