Abdullah bin Abu Qays reported,
Ayesha 
said, "Do not abandon the night prayer, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ never abandoned it. Whenever he was ill or weary, he would pray sitting down."

Zia-ur-Rahman Azami
Abu Dawud (1307) narrated it from Muhammad bin Bashshar, who said, Abu Dawud (that is, Tayalisi, and the hadith is in his Musnad [1519]) told us, Shubah told us, from Yazid bin Khumayr, who said, I heard Abdullah bin Abu Qays, and he mentioned it.Its isnad is sahih, and Ibn Khuzayma (1137) and Hakim (1/308) also graded it sahih, with Hakim saying, "A sahih hadith according to the criterion of Muslim."
